It was our privilege to assist Bremont as their VIP tender for the America’s Cup Races held in Portsmouth earlier this month.
Bremont announced their appointment as Official Timing Partner to the 35th America’s Cup and to the defending champion, ORACLE TEAM USA. Bremont has embarked on a very exciting project to produce a special edition series of timepieces to celebrate its involvement.
The Auld Mug trophy was originally awarded in 1851 by the Royal Yacht Squadron for a race around the Isle of Wight, which was won by the schooner called America.
The history and prestige associated with the America’s Cup attracts some of the world’s top sailors aboard the 45′ Foiling Catamarans, the speed and dexterity needed to handle them is extraordinary.
Congratulations to the BAR team, led by Sir Ben Ainslie that won the most points over the weekend for Great Britain,at this the first official race held in the UK since 1851.
It was a pleasure to be of service to the Bremont team and their guests, and to witness the amazing spectacle of these races, out there on the water.
We wish all the competitors the absolute best of luck for forth coming races.
